The Brainerd Lakes Area abounds in activities all year round. Of course swimming and fishing in area lakes is what first comes to mind, but there are also bike trails, hiking trail, ATV trails for the spring, summer and fall months, and snowmobile trails and snowshoeing trails and cross country ski trails for the winter. Golfing, regular or mini-golf, is also a major warmer weather activity in this area.

For those rainy days, we even have indoor waterparks, movie theaters and many area museums and places of interest.

Many area towns host festivals at different times of the year like Pine River's Summerfest at the end of June or Pequot Lakes' Bean Hole Days in July.  There seems to be a different festival almost every week or weekend of the year in the Lakes Area.
