Fall is the best time to unwind at Birch Lane Resort.  After a busy summer, all resumes a quiet, normal routine here on the lake. Even the nature around and the wildlife seem to take in a refreshing breath of the cool, crisp autumn air. Fall is a great time to take nature hikes on our extensive trail system on our property.  The colors and the wildlife will astound you! Maps are available in the office.

We can also recommend great area "color drives" for seeing the best of the Lakes Area's fall colors.

Fishing in fall is great too!  The bass may be slower, but if you're patient you'll get some action!

Again, many area towns host fall fesitvals and events.  The Arts Off 84 Art Crawl is one of Pine River's featured fall events as well as the month long "Fall Has It All" event in Longeville. Also in the fall, Crosslake hosts is annual Crosslake Days and Nisswa has it's Fall Festival and Smokin' Hot Bar-B-Q Challenge.
